37 And as He spoke, a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him. So He went in and sat down to eat. 38 When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that He had not first washed before dinner.
When Jesus, the Messiah entered an unclean man's house (the Pharisee) and sat down to eat, they were astonished he didn't follow their tradition of hand-washing. They had followed the handed down tradition that Moses taught that their heads were still stuck on the old. They also viewed Jesus as unclean. Jesus knew this and let them have it. "Shame on you Pharisees and teachers of the law because while you are so concern about having clean hands, you forget about the condition of your heart." I think Jesus accepted the invitation to dine with them because he wanted to teach them something. Jesus cared more about the heart than following tradition. He didn't say we shouldn't follow them but we need both inside and outside clean. To kinds of cleansing is mentioned here: physical (hand-washing) and spiritual( inside)
They have neglected to take care of what was in their heart. They needed a spiritual cleasning.
Are you clean? Everyone takes baths and or showers. They even wash their hands before eating, but if you don't spend time reading the Bible and let the water of the Bible cleanse you, then you are not completely clean. Paul wrote this: 7 Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.(1 Cor 7:1)
God's word is spiritual water for our cleansing. In John 13, Jesus told his disciple that they are already clean because they have him, the living word. He taught them many things while he was alive. He teaches us what they have already learn, but we can't just be hearers of the word, but doers. We must become like the man who built the house on And let's a rock. When we do, we are blessed and we become clean. What makes us filthy is not just dirt and soil, but wickedness and sin. Let's face it, we all have sinned become short the glory of God.
Thanks for reading. If you like what you have read, please comment share and like.
I would like to apologize to those who read this book. Not for writing it, but leaving you wondering, "what in the world is soaking worship?" I am sure many of you shook your heads. Some of you saw the negative review about you and steered away. Well, I have some great news! The second edition is out and instead of telling you it, I showed you! You all need to check it out! It's been out for awhile and hardly any reviews on it. I wonder why. So, without further ado, here it is:
I have been using the phrase immersing in the Word in my own life and has I tried to get some sleep, it all made sense to why it us called soaking worship. When I wrote the second editions pf both book and one, I used the phrase "Christian Inspirational music." and I went a little deeper in book 2.
First of all, see the Bible as water that cleanses you. We know that Jesus is the Word and therefore he cleanses us. When we read and study the Bible, and act on it, the word cleanses us from the filthiness of the world. The Apostle Paul that we should cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of the world. We can do that when we renew our minds and let it transform us. When we go deep in his word by meditating on it, and let each word sink into our spirit, the Holy Spirit will teach us all truth and keep us from conforming to what the world wants us to be.
Now let's take it to a physical or natural level. When you take a bath, do you soak in the soothing and cleansing water? There was an old Calgon commercial when a mother had a stressful day. She had filled her tub with water and Calgon, as soon as she stepped in, she said, "Calgon take me away!" Sometimes, we need to say, "Holy Spirit take me away from the filth of this world!" So where does music come in? If you have ever been in a church or a worship service, sometimes the music invites the spirit of prophecy to come into our meeting, or opens the floor to prophecy. In other times, you could really sense the Lord's presence, as you worship him and that is what it did for Beth and Julie in book 2.
After spending two hours listening to inspirational music and meditating on God’s word, all their tension and stress faded away into nothingness. They were in the now and in the presence of God and felt a connection to Him, as His love warmed the room as it washed over her.
Baby Blues, could use some reviews and right now, there is a sale. Click on pic and it will take you there.
Dear Book Promoters,
This is to inform you that sending emails to me, and asking me if I would like to promote my book on your site is regarded as spam. People say there is no such thing as free lunch so I suspect you are just after my money. If you send me an email, you will get a snarky reply. Stop wasting your time trying to scam me. It will not work.
Just because I have fewer than ten reviews does not mean, I am desperate enough to promote with you. You are not Godsent. You are not the only one. If I want to pay for for promotion, I will research the places myself and submit with them. My books have few reviews because the right readers have nor read it nor those who have read it, left a review. My books do not need your help.
Further more, it will be by divine favor that my books will get noticed less man say they promoted me and boast about it.
Sincerely, an annoyed author
I want to apologize to my fans who enjoyed the Past Hunter but waited so long for book 2. Please read below about why I didn't rapid release them.
Less than ten years ago, I wanted to write a story about a woman whose boyfriend tried to find her. It would start in California, but both characters are from Montana. Why Montana? I never share this my friends but after reading a Cowboys Touch by Denise Hunter, I started looming online at ranches. I have never been to Montana and God had replaced the desire to go to Washington State with going there. I didn’t know too much about ranching and much of the original story revolved around her boyfriend trying to reconcile with her and her still thinking he killed someone. The idea of writing book two haven’t crossed my mind. I heard of other authors writing a series, but I didn’t know anything about rapid releases either. Yet they were doing it.
Because of my lack of finances, how could I afford professional editing for all my books? Back in 2012, I had no income whatsoever. In fact, my book needed more editing. I got free help twice, but it still needed work. A few years later, A reader encouraged me to write book two. Yet she never read it. Oh well. When I wrote book 3, I still knew nothing about rapid release. I just release them when I can. Besides, how do you release books with no or little reviews? Easy you are known, but in my experience, people aren’t interested.
I have learned my lesson. Is it too late for readers to notice my books? I posted them when they are on sale, but not when they are free. I have some faithful readers and they are in my readers group. I have book four in the works but that may take time. I have another series I would like to write and I will rapid release them. When? I don't know. I have two stories I want to publish before that happens…maybe 3 if the Lord wills i
"Blessed are ye who sows by all waters..." Isaiah 32:20
Jesus used parables to get his hearers attention and farmers knew very well when he preached a message about the four soils and the seed, but they didn't get the spiritual applications---only his disciples had. Sowing and reaping is an old testament law that started back in the days of Adam. In fact, the LORD God (Adonai Elohim)'s government of sowing and reaping. Every seed bears something: fruit-bearing seeds yields fruit, herb bearing seed yields herbs. God is very much into people bearing fruit and the seed people use is called the word of God.
He who hears let him hear.
Jesus told his disciples that they are permitted to know the secrets of the mystery of the kingdom of God. He continues to tell them what the seed is and no surprise to that, it is HIMSELF!. If you look it up in accordance, the reference number is 4703. Go down the list and the same reference number is used for Jon 1:1 "In the beginning was the WORD, and WORD was in the beginning and the WORD was God. Some people have problems with Jesus being God. They can't see God on the cross, but God is plural (Elohim). In many denominations, people believe in the trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the word of God.
The above scriptures in natural would be an impossibility, but you have to look at in another context. We have to assume that the blessed person sows seeds just as the farmer sows seeds in the parable. And what exactly is all waters? Does it mean you have to sail in the boat to do that? No. Often times in the scripture, there is symbolism, and waters represents people and nations. The blessed person is one who tells everyone about Jesus! "Jesus saves!" "Jesus heals!", etc.
Not everyone receives the good news about Jesus. Some will hear it but before they can let the word take root, the enemy will take it away. Some will hear it but when persecution comes, they will fall away. Some will hear it, but deceitfulness of riches and cares of life will choke the word out of them, but others who will receive it gladly. Those who do will multiply the kingdom. Jesus often will state what the kingdom of God is like and other times will use parables to tell his hearers how the kingdom is operated on. In this one, its the law of sowing and reaping. Sow seed on good ground and you will reap a harvest of souls.
So go out sow Jesus into people's lives! Sow the word of God and be blessed!
